    What are placements?

Tables are divided into global areas — placements:

    • Row part — where there are rows.

    • Header — above the row part under the table header.

    • Footer — below the row part.

    • Prefilter — a special placement for filtering rows in the Row part.

    • Column footer — a special placement that allows fields from the footer to be displayed directly under the columns.

Does the presence or absence of a placement depend on the type of table?

Yes, for example, a simple table used for storing data does not have a footer.

To which placement is the field added by default when you click on Add Field?

    In the string part.

If you click on Save immediately and do not open the field settings, what type will be assigned to the created field?

    By default, String is assigned.

What is the default sort assigned to a field when you add it via Add Field?

Totum looks at the largest sort in the selected placement and adds 10 to it.

What is another way to add a field?

In the dropdown menu for the field, you can always select Insert after. In this case, the field will be immediately inserted in a similar placement after the field where the insertion was selected.

Will the following fields be automatically changed when adding a field via Insert?

Yes, the sort of all subsequent fields in the placement will be changed to +10.
