What are some ways to change the width of the field?

In the dropdown menu of the field.

If you select Default, the field width value will be saved in the field settings.

In the field settings — the parameter default width.

    Through the eye.

How do I reset the field widths to their defaults?

If you right-click on the eye to the right of the table header, the column widths in the table will be reset to their default values.

Can the user save multiple field widths and quickly switch between them?

Yes, this is done through the eye to the right of the table header.

A user can save a set for themselves — the set is saved in the browser, so if opened from another browser, it will not be there.

An admin can convert their private set to a public one — then it will be available to all users.
